Rod Prince's Licensing

Rod Prince was licensed as a Reader in the Church of England at Derby Cathedral on the 14th July. A beautiful service in which Oliver and Josh Prince sang in the choir. Bishop Alistair preached on the role of the Reader and lunch was held in the Cathedral afterwards. The service marked the culmination of three years training during which he was ably supported by his wife Caroline. The Churches in the Wirksworth Team Ministry are looking forward to hearing Rod preach. There will be a service in Church to commission Rod on Sunday September 2nd at 6pm, with refreshments afterwards at the RBL.
